The staff are the whole of the business, and you can tell she's one worth looking after. The person, up close, was younger than I expected, just 19, tall, about 5'7" and smaller than I'd pictured, but fine. The house ran well because of her, and that's what matters. Generous to her, stern to the owner who doesn't keep her. I know a house that looks after its staff.
